Sales Representative - Full Time Position

This position is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, from pursuing leads to closing the final sale and identifying potential upside sales.  The sales representative will work closely with prospects to understand and analyze existing business issues, and apply existing solutions in the form of a proposal.  Initially, this positioned will be focused on closing a book of business targeted at the small to medium sales opportunity. The sales representative will monitor the customer engagement through implementation and maintain customer relationships from the initial engagement through the lifecycle of the relationship.  This position carries a quota and is compensated through a combination of base + commission.

WORK EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years of quota carrying sales (ideally professional services sales) and account management experience
  • Experience selling business applications and
    service solutions is strongly preferred
  • Expertise in eliciting and understanding customers’ needs, and applying tried and true Apprivo solutions
  • Strong technical knowledge in application of solutions
  • Experience managing the sales cycle
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company)
    in past positions
  • Expertise in accurate forecasting and sales cycle metrics
  • Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience managing and closing sales-cycles

EDUCATION AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Salesforce sales accreditation desired, but will be provided
  • Previous sales methodology training preferred
  • Bachelor or university degree highly desirable
